The world through the eyes of a Bong!

Perhaps you might have seen military troops marching on national days of importance. But have you ever seen our little friends from Antarctica march in front of a crowd? Yes, you are right! Penguins march! If you want to see this extraordinary parade, visit the Zürich Zoo.

We visited Zürich Zoo on a chilly yet sunny December afternoon to watch this amusing parade. There were other attractions too. The Masoala Rainforest, for example, is an artificially created rainforest where we saw turtles, snakes and various birds in their natural habitat. Kaeng Krachan Elefant Park is another great indoor attraction where you can watch the elephant play while having food at a restaurant. There is also a provision to watch the elephants underwater. But we could not watch them swim as it was pretty cold when we visited. There are various other species of animals including monkeys, lions and tigers.

Nevertheless, the biggest attraction is the penguin parade. You can walk with the penguins and take their photos while they pose for you.
The event occurs at 1:30pm if the temperature stays below 10 degree Celsius. You have to check the zoo website [link] in the morning to find out if the event takes place on that day.

Watch the videos to see the penguins enjoy the cold, the parade and the love of the crowd!!
